Lavender officinalis oil has a fresh lavender floral aroma and is the most commonly recognised essential oil. It is known to soothe, balance and calm the mind and the body, aiding stress relief and sleep. Ideal for all skin types. Anecdotally it is effective on minor scalds, acts as a sedative, antiseptic, analgesic, decongestant, antispasmodic, antidepressant. *For beginners a must have oil in any collection with geranium and bergamot, blending well with all essential oils.
